Since antiquity, zinc has been known to help in treating skin conditions. Epizyn consists of zinc gluconate, complexed with L-lysine, taurine and carboxymethylcellulose that promotes accelerated healing and assists in restoring skin to its intended state. Epizyn has been found effective in helping treat dry skin, eczema, pruritis, psoriasis, dermatitis, acne, burns/sunburn, rosacea, wounded skin, diaper rash, fissures, skin ulcerations, irritations, and other rashes.

Epizyn is safe for use around the eyes and mouth, with wide margins of safety (pH range of 6.8 - 7.2). Epizyn contains no alcohol and is painless and tissue friendly.

Apply Epizyn during a broad spectrum of dermatology cases when it is necessary to reduce steroid or antibiotic demand by using a zinc based topical. Use Epizyn when dermatology cases are slow to respond and for post-surgery cases where a topical is beneficial in reducing surgery site irritation, itching, infection and scarring. Hair will regrow in its original color at the site of a wound when treating with Epizyn.

Unlike other zinc skin treatments including zinc pyrithione and zinc oxide, Epizyn offers greater bio-availability and pharmacokinetic properties, offering increases systemic circulation to rapidly assist in the body's natural capability to restore skin back to its natural state.

Results

Epizyn treatment accelerated healing of surgically created mouse skin wounds/defects.

Epizyn completed healing in 10 days versus 14-21 days for controls or Triple Antibiotic Ointment.

Epizyn once per day was optimal for healing of mouse skin wounds.

Epizyn healing surpassed both Panalog and Triple Antibiotic Ointment.

Panalog Trimcinolone Acetonide treated wounds were not completely healed at study termination (21 days).

Testimonials

One of my patients had a Coccyx pressure ulcer stage ll.  The ulcer was four months old and not healing.  I recommended Epizyn because of its effectiveness, improved healing and ease of use.  I was amazed that within one month my patient had significant healing of the wound and the skin around the ulcer.

- Gretchen Jones, Physician’s Assistant

"“I used Epizyn on three patients with ankle ulcers.  These were open ulcers, one was a venous-stasis ulcer and one was a atrophie blanche ulcer.  I was very pleased with the healing results.  One patient complained about burning with the gel.  No complaints of burning sensation with the spray."
